Front End Web Developer

Smart Monkeys, Inc. is looking for a front end web developer to accelerate the creation of web applications. This person would be part of the ISAAC development team working on the front end application (Web based). Major roles will include front end logic, styling, and REST API interaction.

• 5+ years of work experience
• 5+ year front end web development experience with Javascript
• 90-day probationary period

This product results directly from years of experience designing and deploying advanced show and media control systems across various markets including Theme-Parks, Museums, Large LED Media Installations, Theaters, Casinos and Transportation Hubs.

The ISAAC Platform provides unified and redundant process hosting, programming environment, and user management for the most demanding Audio Video and Control installations. This product is a productization of our many system designs involving IT technology such as hardware virtualization and software containerization. ISAAC is redefining system integration with an overarching ecosystem-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of TypeScript, CSS, and basic design to a web application
• Integrate data from a REST API into the web application
• Follow industry standard practices for a React JS application
• Be self-motivated when working remotely and independently

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with React JS applications written in TypeScript
• Experience working with a RESTful APIs, Git, Webpack
• Strong problem solving skills

Compensation

• Salary based on experience, USD per Annum paid on a monthly basis
